Its been a great year for Heavenly Bodies, we have been running around all over the place, bringing the joys of luxury handmade body products to everyone.

Tried to choose one highlight.. but it wasn't possible :-) so here are a few to get us ready for a taster of whats to come…..

Our regular spot at Stockton Heath Farmers Market will start again in the Spring, this is organised by some smashing volunteers from Walton Lea project. It's a popular little market with fresh produce, cakes & other lovely goodies, last Sunday of the month why not make a date!

Speke Hall was memorable place for us, & saw us attending two events there in 2013, Tudor Day & the Vintage Rally, we thank the National Trust for the invite. The sun shone on both the weekends & we were delighted with the crowds :-)

Of course how could we miss out the Palm House in Sefton Park, Preston Makers Markets, Warrington Created Markets, Alty Market.
2014 has lots of new events to bring us & we hope you will pop over to one & say hello, so we will leave you with some images of 2013 & look forward to sharing some new & exciting ideas with you next year :-)

All the best

Monday 23 December 2013

It was a lovely end to the year with some fabulous new faces.  Alty Market in Manchester is having life breathed into it … & we hope it goes from strength to strength. Here are a few festive snaps of the day, taking in scenes of handmade goodies.
We love the way there is a warm community feel here, together with a relaxed atmosphere & some very talented young musicians, whom entertain us with tunes young & old. We hope if you haven't had the pleasure of a visit … you will put it on your New Years resolution list!

Just one last drop today, & then thats us finished for this year.
Heavenly Bodies is looking forward to seeing everyone next year & we are excited to get our inventive hats on…  creating wonderful new soaps & re-inventing some old favourites.

All the best

Mandy & Larry

The very best fun was had by all!!!

We have been a bit busy of late, sorry for the serious lack of blogging ;-) A quick update of the best of December so far…..
"Artisans in the Palm House" 1st December saw us at the amazing Palm House in Sefton Park, Liverpool, over 2,000 visitors came through the doors of this beautiful venue, & it was a complete delight to be sharing the room with over 50 of the North West's most talented artisans.
As the light faded, we left hoping that next March 2014 will be even more fantastic.

7th & 8th December, unbelievable weather for this time of year…10 degrees centigrade & a fine weekend was had by all at the Christmas Lancashire Market, over 80 stall holders.
A mixture of fine foods, handmade goodies, a visit from Santa, & a couple of reindeers thrown in for good measure made the 2 day event go with a swing.

A quick mention of our lovely neighbours Coconut Rose Bakery & Polka Pops…. big smiles & great products :-)

We will be updating our blog regulary now to show you where we are & what we are up to….. no honestly we will!!!  :-) ( when we get a minute )

xx

Touching our products..

Over the years we've read lots of blogs from lots of really talented interesting fellow makers - and the one thing that we can't agree on with some of them is their policy of 'touching' or rather 'please don't touch policy'.

We love & encourage everyone to pick up and smell our products.. that's why we love going to events.

We also love that children get involved - as they are always told to 'not touch' anything.. well visit our tables and be ready to have your socks knocked off by the beautiful fragrances of our luxury hand made natural soaps, body butters, lip balms & bodacious bath bombs :)

All our lovely products are carefully made by us and are suitable for the most sensitive of skins..

We're at the Widnes Vintage Rally this weekend - and hope to see lots of lovely people.. so come on over, say hello & don't be frightened to pick up anything on the table :)

Goat's milk, Lavender & Bergamot Soap.

Hey you want to hear some interesting facts about Goat's milk, straight from the mouth of a goat owner & lover! ( from "Boring Goats" )

It has been used as a healthy, natural part of skincare for centuries... its benefits over chemical laden products are countless (provided you can't count beyond 100 or so) making it a superior, natural, healthy choice for you and your most important organ... your skin.

The following is a brief list of some of the key benefits that real goat's milk has to offer...

- Goat's milk contains lactic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid that aids in breaking down dead skin cells allowing the skin to naturally rejuvenate.

- It's packed with essential vitamins and nutrients... including vitamins A (known for its ability to repair damaged tissue and reduce lines and wrinkles), E, C and B as well as amino and citric acids, unsaturated fatty acids and zinc.

- It has a PH level very close to that of your skin... While opinions vary on the importance of a balanced PH, many believe it aids in protecting your skin from unwelcome bacteria.

- It's been proven to aid in reducing acne; so much so that many dermatologists recommend it to their patients as a natural path to healthy skin.

No colours & contains relaxing Essential oils .... why not see & feel what all the fuss is about?? we love it!!
